Put your chemical engineering knowledge to the test against colleges around the region! Compete in this year’s southern regional jeopardy for a chance to make it to nationals.
Competition guidelines

Fair Play:

All participants are expected to uphold the AIChE Code of Ethics and compete with integrity.

Eligibility:
-
Each university may enter one team of four students in the regional competition. Schools interested in bringing a secondary “B team” may do so if additional team spots are available.

Competition Structure:

Every round includes six categories: five science/engineering-focused topics and one non-technical category.

The format follows the traditional Jeopardy setup with Single, Double, and Final Jeopardy.

Preliminary and semifinal rounds will take place on Friday, with the Regional Final held on Saturday.

Important Rules:

All answers must be given in the form of a question.

Incorrect responses will result in a deduction of points.

Only teams with a score above zero may participate in Final Jeopardy.

Buzzing & Timing:
-
Teams have up to five seconds after the clue is read to buzz in, and answers must be given without delay once recognized.
